The Central National Bank of Greencastle, located in Putnam County, Indiana, was established in 1883. The collection, which spans 1921–2004, contains bank condition statements, brochures, advertisements, newspaper clippings, and postcards. Materials are arranged alphabetically by folder title. The bank was closely associated with the O’Hair family beginning in 1884, when Robert L. O’Hair became president. In 1933, the bank was robbed by members of the John Dillinger gang, an event that received significant local attention.
